Becky Hartman Edwards
Becky Hartman Edwards is an American television producer and writer.
She moved around the United States during her childhood and spent two years in Israel from 1974–1976. She earned her A.B. from Harvard University as a History Major and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her senior thesis "Abandon The Creeping Meatball" was on the Yippies and their manipulation of mainstream media.
She broke into comedy writing on the series ''The Sweet Life'' on the Comedy Channel starring Rachel Sweet and wrote alongside Michael Patrick King and Jon Stewart. She moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and began writing for ''In Living Color''. She has written on numerous shows since then, including ''Living Single'', ''The Larry Sanders Show'', ''Sex and the City'', ''American Dreams'', ''Invasion'', ''Life on Mars'', ''Parenthood'', ''Switched at Birth'', ''The Astronaut Wives Club'' and Amazon's ''Hand of God''. She developed a pilot for the USA network about a female modern-day Robin Hood.〔Fine, Audrey. In 1994, she married the artist JonMarc Edwards. They have two children Elijah and Gabrielle.
